Loved the album, my favorite is Old Love. I felt every word, it was like he knew my soul. I hope he sings it on the next Crossroads Concert DVD, which I can't wait for.
I couldn't agree more. It wasn't just a great album, but it was a transformation of Clapton...those solos in Layla are amazing. I need to go dig that out and give it a spin.
How about Creedence Clearwater Revival? I have a cd of their movie songs with their renditions of Marvin Gay's "Heard it through the Grapevine" and "Suzy Q", who I forget originally sang that. But they just knocked me off my feet the way they did these songs. These songs deserve more radio time.
