Which era of Eric Clapton's career is your favorite?

Also, now, because I know he's happier in his personal life but his music has just matured, I love those Crossroad DVD's. He just has shook up the rock'n'roll generation again which, has pretty much been asleep for awhile. I think he's largely responsible for the great interest in electric guiter music lately.
