60's Rock Music

From Dr. Rock, your dose of the BEST music ever made!

Music has always chronicled the human condition, good or bad, and the current recession is starting to generate a host of new additions to The Great Playlist Of Life - Economic Chapter. Witness the recently-released country hit "Shuttin' Down Detroit" by John Rich and "Homeland Refugee" by the Flatlanders. Here are a few suggestions to start a playlist based on a troubled economy and its effect on one's psyche (and pocketbook). Add your own and we'll collectively construct a playlist I'm tentatively titling Songs In The Key Of Money. (For additional hints, see I've Been Working in the Playlist Vault).

"Ain't Got No Home," The Band, 1973
"The Ghost Of Tom Joad," Bruce Springsteen, 1988
"I Need A Job," Bobby McClure, 1994
"Loan Me A Dime," Boz Scaggs, 1969
"Out Of Work," Gary "U.S." Bonds, 1982
