Thanks for reminding us! James Douglas Morrison was born December 8, 1943 in Melbourne, FL. He started the Doors with fellow UCLA film student Ray Manzarek in 1965. Jim died on July 3, 1971 in Paris, France under what continue to be "questionable" circumstances. Happy Birthday and RIP, Jim! -- Dr. Rock
