Best Music to Drive To?
I just got back from a sweet road trip, and it occurred to me that my all-time favorite driving song is "L.A. Woman" by The Doors. There's something about it that just makes me want to cruise on the open road, windows down, as fast as possible...
What are your favorite Doors songs to drive to? Or songs in general?

My iPod's full of great road tunes (including the Doors' "Roadhouse Blues"). I could list hundreds of great driving tracks, but for now check out my "On The Road Again" playlist by clicking here. There's another playlist about destinations (rather than driving there) -- "I've Been Everywhere" -- click here.
You can legally download iPod tracks through iTunes by clicking on any Dr. Rock playlist. The downloads will also play on any mp3 player or computer.
I am also working on two more playlists - "Cars" (about just that) and "Road Trip" (about traveling).

OK doc. I checked out your playlists. They're good but you missed Drive my Car by the Beatles, Promised Land by Chuck Berry and Road Tripping by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Those are excellent drive tunes. PFFan

Take it Easy by the Eagles is one of my favorite driving songs, also Little Deuce Coupe by the Beach Boys, is so fine.
