My vote for #1 is Sgt. Pepper's (one of the top 5 rock/pop albums of all time!), followed by The White Album and Rubber Soul.

White Album was the most anticipated.

White Album is tops for sheer breadth of musical style and experimentation, as evidenced by the two versions of "Revolution." Also this is the album that best highlights distinctions between Lennon and McCartney styles of songwriting.

I agree..but for me the White Album can be one of the most difficult to listen to all the way through. Great album though.

IMHO Rubber Soul was the most groundbreaking for it's time, right down to the slanted faces image on the cover ...but Sgt. Pepper is the bee's knees.

It's almost too tough to choose. Are there no Abbey Road fans?!

Jason: Abbey Road has has few fans, but I'm hearing The White Album is #1 (so far). Dr. Rock

Here's my tally for the vote so far (based on 5 points for #1, 4 points for #2, etc.). Not very scientific; we need more votes:

1. Rubber Soul
2. Sgt. Pepper's
3. White Album
4. Abbey Road
5. Revolver
